When to Place Your Order2026-02-25T08:46:00-06:00

For the best experience, especially if you’re looking for full service or delivery, we recommend reaching out as early as possible. Our full-service rates vary based on factors like menu selections, location, service style, and more. These rates can be calculated once we have those details. Delivery rates also depend on your location, with a typical starting rate of $275. Our team will be happy to provide an estimate.

We prefer two weeks’ notice or more, as this gives us the time to gather ingredients, prepare your meal, and plan every detail of your event. Full-service teams need to be scheduled, and many logistics require careful coordination. That said, we will always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests!

Preorder pickup offers the most flexibility and attractive savings, making it an excellent option for those who can plan ahead. The larger the event, the more important advance notice is to ensure availability and customization options.

Please note: During busy seasons or holiday periods, early booking is even more crucial to secure your desired date and service.

Feel free to contact us anytime with questions or to start planning your event. We’re here to help!

Incorporating Plated / Boxed vs. Buffet Variables2024-10-15T15:13:44-05:00

For different serving styles, adjust the portions slightly:

  • Plated/Boxed Meals: Exact portions.
  • Proteins: 6 oz per person.
  • Sides: 4-6 oz per side.
  • Appetizers/Desserts: Offer controlled, set portions (e.g., 4-6 appetizers, 1-2 dessert portions per person).
  • Buffet Style: Slightly larger portions to account for guest flexibility in servings.
  • Proteins: 8 oz per person for one protein, or 10-12 oz total for multiple proteins.
  • Sides: 4-6 oz per side, with the higher range used for a buffet.
  • Appetizers/Desserts: Plan for 6-8 appetizer pieces per person and 1.5-2 dessert portions per person.
Suggested Total Accumulative Mains & Side2024-10-15T15:12:35-05:00
  • Meats: Total 6-8 oz per person if only one protein, or 10-12 oz total if offering a variety of proteins.
  • Sides: Plan for 2-3 sides, with a total of 8-12 oz of sides per person.
Desserts, Suggested Portions2024-10-15T15:11:38-05:00

Portions/Servings: Plan for 1.5-2 pieces or portions of dessert per person, especially if offering variety.

  • Half Pan: For dessert items like brownies or cake slices, a half pan typically serves 20-24 people.
  • Buffet: More variety can mean slightly smaller portions (1.5 pieces per person), but aim for a variety to please different tastes.
  • Plated/Boxed: Offer one larger portion or two smaller portions of dessert per person.
Sides, Suggested Portions2024-10-15T15:10:55-05:00

Total Accumulative Sides: Aim for 4-6 oz per side per person, with a total of 2-3 sides offered.

  • Simple Meal: 1-2 sides per person at 6 oz per side.
  • Full Buffet: Offer 2-3 sides, with 4 oz per side, totaling around 8-12 oz of sides per person.
  • Half Pan: Each half pan of sides typically serves 15-20 people, depending on the richness of the side dish.
  • Buffet: Offer slightly larger side portions (closer to 6 oz) to accommodate guest flexibility.
  • Plated/Boxed: Controlled portions with exactly 4-6 oz per side per person.
Proteins (meats), Suggested Portions2024-10-15T15:09:56-05:00

Total Accumulative Meat Portions: For mixed protein options, plan for around 6-8 oz of meat per person if offering one protein, or 4-6 oz per person per protein if offering two or more varieties.

  • Simple Meal: For plated/boxed meals, aim for a single 6-8 oz portion of protein per person.
  • Full Buffet: With multiple protein options, aim for 4-6 oz of each protein per person, giving a total of around 10-12 oz per person across all proteins to account for variety.
  • Half Pan: For meats, estimate that each half pan serves around 10-12 people for a buffet or 8-10 people for plated/boxed meals.
  • Buffet: Slightly larger portions as people serve themselves; better to err on the higher side of the range (8 oz per person).
  • Plated/Boxed: Stick to exact portions (6 oz per person) to avoid waste.
Appetizers, Suggested Portions2024-10-15T15:08:05-05:00

Portions/Servings: For catered events, plan for 4-6 pieces per person for light appetizers, or 8-10 pieces for more filling options, especially if the event is appetizer-focused.

  • Half Pan: Serves 12-15 people for light appetizers, or 8-10 for heavier appetizers.
  • Buffet: Aim for the higher end of the range (6-8 pieces per person), as people tend to take more.
  • Plated/Boxed: Stick to the lower range (4-6 pieces per person) for more controlled portions.
  • Variety: Offer at least 3 appetizer options for variety.
